Sunday School

 
Adult Sunday School Classes 

Forum (Room 110 / Conference Room)-  An intergenerational group seeking to grow spiritually through short term studies on topics of interest to the class.  Programming includes Bible study, guest speakers, group discussion and contemporary issues.  Contact:  Judy Milligan, 274-0014.  

Medlin (Room 112) – The class uses the Adult Bible Series and other materials from current authors in a combined lecture and discussion format.  Teachers are class members and other Centenarians.  Contact:  Diane Stanley, 299-6991.

Open Window (Library)-  Singles and couples in their 20’s-40’s.  Lessons based on topics of interest to the class in a discussion format.  Class members share in the teaching role.  Contact:  Dennis Creamer, 299-1858.

Pittard (Room 1001)- The class uses the International Lesson Series with a variety of outstanding teachers.  Members of the class are involved with and contribute to numerous organizations that serve the community.  Class Motto:  “I would rather see a sermon than hear one.”  Contact: Susan Carrick, 286-0051.

Providence (Room 117)-  The class is a fellowship of individuals and couples.  All ages are welcome.  Class time is an open discussion using videos and other Bible study materials to help everyone strengthen their Christian walk.  Contact:  Kay Scott, 643-2037.

Roach (1002)- Use the Adult Bible Study Series with different teachers using discussion and lecture.  The class is young at heart and holds several wonderful parties each year.  Contact: Bonnie Travis, 288-8634.

Wesley (Room 115)- Couples and singles age 50+.  This class is service oriented sponsoring several ongoing projects.  Their lively Sunday morning discussions revolve around Cokesbury’s Adult Bible Study Series. Contact:  Hazel Raper, 454-0058.

Sunday Morning Intersection (F.H.)- Couples and singles 30+.  A discussion oriented class based on group involvement.  Lessons revolving around life and faith are covered via discussion and video.  Discussion questions of faith in a caring environment are more important than agreeing on answers. 

Youth Sunday School Classes

Senior High (9th- 12th grades) & Middle School (6th – 8th grades) The youth meet in the youth room behind the Fellowship Hall stage.  Lessons include study of scripture and life application in a discussion format.

 Children’s Sunday School Classes  

Birth – 2 year olds:  Nursery Rooms 111 and 113

3 and 4 year olds:  Room 106

Kindergarten, First & Second Grade

Third, Fourth & Fifth Grade 

The Gathering
